Revocation of COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for Workers in Residential Aged Care and Disability Accommodation Services Direction

Direction from Chief Health Officer in accordance with emergency powers arising from the declared public health emergency

Section 362E

I, Dr John Gerrard, Chief Health Officer, pursuant to s362E of the Public Health Act 2005, am satisfied that the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for Workers in Residential Aged Care and Disability Accommodation Service Direction is no longer necessary to assist in containing, or to respond to, the spread of COVID-19 within the community.

Revocation

  1. The COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for Workers in Residential Aged Care and Disability Accommodation Service Direction made on 2 September 2022 is revoked from 6.00pm AEST 31 October 2022.
