Several members of the MASS team recently attended the ATSA Independent Living Expo, taking part in a range of education sessions and seminars focused on current trends and innovations in assistive technology.

MASS clinicians recently joined several palliative care services as an exhibitor at the Metro North PHN palliative care evening.  
They met many GPs and pharmacists, providing them with an overview of the program, and enjoyed linking in with other related services.

PDF Applications for the Spectacle Supply Scheme will be accepted until 31 Dec 2026.

From 1 Jan 2027 applications will only be accepted via the online e-Apply portal.

Four staff members from the MASS clinical team (Bevan Forward, Sharon Clark, Dr Kieran Broome and Bridget Manning) attended the International Allied Health Day Celebrations alongside Renae Kelly, Director of MASS, on the morning of 14 October at the Calamvale Hotel.

REC (Rehabilitation Engineering Clinic) staff were on-site today to remove parts from discontinued and beyond economical repair PowerDrive wheelchairs. Utilising these quality second hand components will enable REC to reduce their budget and labour time. This opportunity adds to the sustainability goal of MASS and strengthens the working relationship between our areas.
