Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme

Subsidy funding for medical aids and equipment is available to eligible Queenslanders with permanent/stable conditions or disabilities. Aids and equipment are subsidy funded either on a permanent loan basis, private ownership or through the supply of consumables.

Continence MASS-eApply Form Update

The continence team has reviewed and updated MASS-eApply application forms - the revised and addition of clinical questions will assist with processing times and prevent applications from being rejected.

MASS General Guideline Update

In line with the recent changes to the Aged Care funding model and introduction of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) funding, the MASS eligibility criteria for persons who reside in a residential aged care home will be updated from 13 March 2023.

MASS Stock and Warehouse Access

Access to MASS stock for trial and allocation for eligible clients is currently limited to applicants for urgent Hospital discharge (including TCP, PACS), other urgent circumstances on consultation with MASS or where the item/s required by the applicant will result in a large copayment. The warehouse remains closed to visitors.
