Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme

Subsidy funding for medical aids and equipment is available to eligible Queenslanders with permanent/stable conditions or disabilities. Aids and equipment are subsidy funded either on a permanent loan basis, private ownership or through the supply of consumables.

Static Bathing and Toileting Aids (BTA) Application Process

The Static Bathing and Toileting Aids (BTA) application process has been updated in MASS-eApply.  These categories are included within the MASS-eApply forms – Daily Living Aids and Mobility Equipment or Daily Living Aids and Mobility Equipment – Short Form.

MASS-eApply Daily Living Aids Short Form

MASS-eApply has a new form:  Daily Living Aids and Mobility Equipment – Short Form.  This form can be used to submit application requests for basic items that are on SOA only, including: Static or 3-in-1 commodes, over toilet aids, bath transfer benches, swivel bathseats, static shower chairs or stools, and wheeled walking aids.

MASS Stock and Warehouse Access

Access to MASS stock for trial and allocation for eligible clients is currently limited to applicants for urgent Hospital discharge (including TCP, PACS), other urgent circumstances on consultation with MASS or where the item/s required by the applicant will result in a large copayment. The warehouse remains closed to visitors.
